Built for the feedback problem nobody talks about

I got tired of enterprise tools that were complicated, expensive, or both. Clients should leave comments. You shouldn't have to babysit logins.

Built by a frustrated business owner

Visual feedback shouldn't be complicated. After building B2B SaaS companies for over 2 decades, I've reviewed at least a thousand images: product mockups, website designs, graphic ads, booth designs, social posts. I was tired of tools that made simple things hard.

Your stakeholders shouldn't need an account just to leave feedback. You shouldn't need a tutorial to add a comment. And you definitely shouldn't pay enterprise prices for basic annotation. Every tool I tried had the same problems: complicated interfaces, broken rendering, surprise bills, or account walls that frustrated my team and external partners.

There had to be a better way. Something dead simple: Upload. Click. Comment. Done. No accounts for stakeholders. No broken rendering. No surprise bills. Just visual feedback that works.

So I built Boast with one rule: keep the simple path simple, and leave the power tools available when you need them. Your clients click a link and comment. No tutorial. No extra layers to click through first.

Boast visual feedback tool in action

The problem I couldn't ignore

I tried the usual feedback tools. You know the ones. They promise "simple collaboration" and then break when you need them. Some have documented reliability issues: "half the websites I tried didn't load," "filled with bugs." Others jacked up prices and killed their free plans, which is a rough way to treat freelancers and small shops.

Broken tools and unfair pricing are part of it. The worse part is the extra steps. Your client shouldn't need an account to leave feedback. You shouldn't wonder if the tool will load during a client presentation. And you shouldn't pay enterprise prices for basic visual feedback.

Upload. Click. Comment. Done. That's the bar. Most tools miss it by being complicated, flaky, or expensive. I got tired of waiting for someone else to fix that.

What I built instead

That's why I built Boast. It loads when you share it. The person on the other end just comments. Solo starts at $9.95.

Upload. Click. Comment. Done. That's how the product works, not a slogan we taped on later. Your client clicks a link and comments. No account. No broken rendering. No surprise bills.

A few things I wouldn't ship without:

  • Tested across browsers, devices, and file types. No mystery bugs or broken rendering
  • Loginless external collaborators click and comment. No account required
  • Email replies within 1 business day, from people, not a ticket black hole
  • Solo is $9.95 and includes versioning, Kanban, and unlimited images. Other tools put those behind a higher plan

Where Boast is different

Built for reliability

Tested across browsers, devices, and file types. No mystery bugs or broken rendering. When you share a link, it works. That's non-negotiable.

Clients need zero setup

Loginless external collaborators click and comment. No account, no signup wall, no payment prompt for the person leaving feedback.

Real support that responds

If something breaks, you hear back in one business day from a person who will actually look at it.

Why this exists

Professional visual feedback without enterprise complexity or enterprise invoices. Upload. Click. Comment. Done. No broken rendering, no surprise bills, no account wall for your clients.
